The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site offers internships in both its education and collections departments.
*Please note: There are no internships available in the collections department for the Summer of 2012.
In the past, collections interns have assisted with cataloguing, research, exhibit development, and digitization projects. In addition to conducting tours of the museum, previous education interns have helped with the development and implementation of school programs.
Other internship opportunities are offered on an as-needed basis.
While internships at the TR Site are unpaid, students are strongly encouraged to speak to their schools regarding the process for receiving academic credit.
Most interns are upperclass undergraduate or graduate students, but student status is not required. Similarly, a background in history or museum studies is preferred but not required. Applicants should be responsible, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

* For fall internships (September - December), applications must be received by July 15th
* For spring internships (January - May), applications must be received by November 1st
* For summer internships (May - August), applications must be received by March 15th
