The Legend Continues

The second floor of the TR Site is a testament to TR's enduring legacy. Here, you'll find numerous activities that not only showcase his presidency, but demonstrate how his actions relate to what's happening in the world today.

You can enter a recreation of TR's White House office, and sit at the presidential desk. The desk is complete with a touchscreen computer, where you can review some of the same pieces of legislation as President Roosevelt, then compare your decisions to his. You can even strike your most presidential pose while having your photo taken sitting behind the desk.

Have you ever wondered how different the world is today compared with a century ago? Through the second-floor exhibits, you can compare issues that TR faced in the early 1900s to those of today. You just may be surprised at how similar the issues really are.
