Adapted Tour Procedures Until Further Notice
· Please note that TR Site procedures have been slightly modified until further notice due to COVID-19-related precautions, and in accordance with recommendations by the New York State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control.
Tour capacity is currently strictly limited to reduce the risk of infectious spread.
ALL VISITS ARE BY PRE-RESERVATION ONLY. Please check TRSite.org or call 716-884-0095 for available times and to make reservations. Tickets are for a specific date and time. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated at this time. We encourage those without reservations and unable to return to visit our website www.TRSite.org and experience our free virtual tour.
To avoid overcrowding in the reception area and keep within building capacity limits, you will not be allowed to enter the reception area more than 10 minutes before your tour reservation. Please feel free to explore the Site’s grounds and wait outside until then.
Capacity is currently limited to ONE party per tour time, with up to six (6) persons maximum per tour time. Plan that your tour may last up to one hour, starting at your reservation time.
Due to present capacity limits, large tour groups cannot be accommodated at this time. Group tours will resume when conditions permit. Watch TRSite.org for updates.
Visitor Code of Conduct
By making reservations to tour the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site, you agree to abide by the following during your visit:
Neither you nor anyone in your group have recently been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 and that neither you nor anyone in your group have recently been diagnosed with COVID-19. You are not currently experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 including, but not limited to fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. If you are ill, please stay home and contact your doctor. Reservations may be cancelled and fees refunded in case of illness or COVID-19 exposure.
I am aware of the New York State Governor’s Travel Advisory, and if I am traveling into NY State from another state, or are a NY State resident who has recently traveled outside NY State, have followed NY State requirements for testing and/or quarantine periods. By New York State executive order and Centers for Disease Control recommendation, a face covering that covers the mouth and nose MUST be worn by all persons over age two during the entirety of your visit. At this time, masks continue to be required throughout your visit even for those who have been fully vaccinated.
It is essential to exercise CDC-recommended rules for distancing and face-coverings, as persons on the premises are in high-risk categories for complications of COVID-19.
If you or a member of your party is medically unable to wear a face covering during your visit, you MUST DECLARE SO WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION so that accommodations can be arranged. Notification should be declared when making your reservation. The TR Site reserves the right to limit accommodation for medical reasons to those who have requested them in advance.
If you or a member of your party is medically unable to wear a cloth face covering or mask during your visit, acceptable alternatives include a clear face shield (provided by the visitor) or a scarf wrapped across the face (provided by the visitor). If neither of these options are acceptable to the visitor, you can still see the TR Site online at TRSite.org
Any face coverings, gloves or other personal protective equipment being discarded should be properly disposed of.
Observe physical distancing at all times while on the premises.
If you become ill, find out that you have been exposed to coronavirus, or test positive for COVID within two weeks of your visit, please contact the TR Site as soon as possible.
Wash or sanitize your hands as soon as you enter, and as needed throughout your visit. A public restroom for washing is available, and sanitizer dispensers are available at several locations through the museum.
The TR Site conducts regular cleaning of the museum, as well as cleaning of high-contact areas between tours. Avoid touching exhibits when not necessary, and sanitize your hands after contact if you do.
Please cover a cough or sneeze with a tissue, or with an elbow or shoulder if no tissue is available, followed by a thorough hand cleaning.
NO backpacks, luggage or packages are allowed in the museum. Our coat room is also unavailable.

Ticketing Notes
Visitors with an NPS 'America the Beautiful' Pass: please select the “NPS Pass” ticket from the drop down menu, and indicate the quantity of individual spots you are reserving for your group. A non-refundable advance registration fee of $1 applies to each ticket reserved with an NPS Pass. You will be required to present your NPS Pass before the start of your tour, or be charged regular admission rates.
Visitors with children under the age of 5: please select the “Children (5 and Younger) tickets from the drop down menu. A non-refundable advance registration fee of $1 applies to each ticket reserved for a free children's admission.
Ticket holders should plan on entering no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.
No refunds are granted for no-shows or cancellations without notice.
