Eight days after he was shot by an assassin at Buffalo’s Pan-American Exposition, President William McKinley died in the early morning hours of September 14, 1901.

125 years after the tragic death of this much-loved president, we will honor him and his legacy by placing a wreath at Buffalo’s McKinley Monument, in Niagara Square.

The public is invited to join us — at the Delaware Ave entrance, between the Statler Hotel and the Robert H. Jackson Federal Courthouse — for this solemn remembrance.
