Your gift from investments helps ensure that the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site continues to inspire visitors for generations to come.

A gift from investments allows you to make a lasting impact while providing you with the opportunity to honor Roosevelt’s leadership and ideals. Even a modest-sized gift can make an enormous difference in ensuring that the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site continues to flourish.

Retirement funds, insurance policies, and more are the tools of charitable gift planning. These tools allow you to express your beliefs and values. Planned gifts can also provide you with valuable tax benefits.

LEGACY SOCIETY

We welcome friends who commit to the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site’s future support through a bequest, beneficiary designation or other planned gift. Members are welcome regardless of their estate size or pledge amounts. Gifts pledged to the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site Foundation qualify you to become a member of the Legacy Society.

To become a member, please contact Reine Hauser at (716) 884-0095 for additional information on joining the Legacy Society. We’ll provide a legacy society notification form.

WAYS TO LEAVE A LASTING LEGACY

There are several options for making a gift from your reserves to the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site.
Here are some of the most popular methods:

IRA or Retirement Plan Beneficiaries:

Your IRA has appreciated over the years, and now you’ll pay a hefty tax. Or, donate it to the TR Inaugural Site and receive a tax deduction instead.

Bequests:

Include the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site in your will or trust. You can specify a certain amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after other bequests have been made.

Charitable Remainder Trusts:

A charitable remainder trust allows you to provide for yourself or your loved ones, with the remaining assets benefiting the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site after your passing.

Life Insurance Policies:

You can name the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. This is a simple and effective way to make a substantial gift.

Stocks & Bonds:

As your portfolio has increased in value, so has your tax burden. Simply donate stocks or bonds instead of cash to the TR Site and take advantage of the tax rewards.

Real Estate & Securities Gifts:

Donating appreciated securities or real estate offers tax advantages and directly supports the preservation of the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site.
