Our Speakers:

• Tweed Roosevelt, great-grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt, is Chairman of The Roosevelt School at Long Island University and is a LIU University Professor. After graduation from Harvard, Mr. Roosevelt served for two years as a VISTA volunteer in New York City. He subsequently earned an MBA from Columbia and taught there for two years. After that he had a long career in management consulting and finance culminated in his becoming Chairman of Roosevelt China Investments. Mr. Roosevelt has taught at Long Island University, Harvard University, Columbia University and many other schools. He has published numerous articles about TR and related topics in journals and other publications including 22 articles in the refereed Theodore Roosevelt Association Journal, and in a medical journal, The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
  He has also written on other subjects, for example, two articles in the highly respected Baker Street Journal. He appear frequently in all kinds of TV shows and he has appeared on stage at countless events about Theodore Roosevelt and other subjects.
  Tweed Roosevelt lives on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard, and in Boston and has two children and one granddaughter.
• Massee McKinley’s maternal ancestor is the 22nd and 24th US President, Grover Cleveland. McKinley is also fond of and a consistent advocate for the 25th US President William McKinley, who is his 2nd-great uncle.
  McKinley was the founding partner of Peerage Communications, LLC, an executive and political communications and public relations boutique consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. He has written for the likes of Delta Airlines, The Coca-Cola Company, LVMH (Louis Vuitton), Burberry, Hermès and Ferragamo. McKinley has also written for three former United States House
  Speakers. Beginning June 1st of this year, McKinley now serves at the Director of Marketing and Brand Engagement at Long Island University.
  McKinley is the Co-Founder, Vice President and Chief of Staff of The Society of Presidential Descendants. In his current capacity with the National First Ladies Day Commission, he serves as Co-Chair of the Commission Board of Trustees.
  McKinley is an avid historical autograph collector. His personal collection now includes every United States President. He is now working on obtaining all the autographs of the United States First Ladies.
